I've found that if I have to heat food from the stove or oven, the quality of the food I cook increases... which is to say I make better food choices without having a microwave.

That being said, microwaves get a bad wrap.

...and I am so beyond sick of hearing the misuse of "radiation." That word's context is used questionably more often than not.

ir·ra·di·ate (-rd-t)v. ir·ra·di·at·ed, ir·ra·di·at·ing, ir·ra·di·atesv.tr.1.a. To expose to radiation.b. To treat with radiation: irradiate farm produce so as to destroy bacteria.2. To shed light on; illuminate.3. To manifest in a manner suggesting the emission of light; radiate: irradiate goodness.v.intr. Archaic1. To send forth rays; radiate.2. To become radiant.

Radiation refers more to "emission of light" (a.k.a. heat) than it does to neon green, glowing plutonium/uranium, but you'd think it was the other way around, listening to popular culture (I'm lookin' at you Homer Simpson).

"My coffee got too irradiated."
"The furnace has put out enough radiation, let's turn it off."Hontseur Thotshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10799765178908406877noreply@blogger.com
