Dunno if that warrants a correction or not. But I am planning on becoming a DIY tDCS-er sometime... soon, and there's a subreddit dedicated to this particular brand of (buahaha!) self-experimentation: http://www.reddit.com/r/tDCS/

Thanks and keep up the awesome work!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4307187040250193857.post-33602835074048616892013-05-11T05:13:43.214-07:002013-05-11T05:13:43.214-07:00Even if it turns out there are side effects to the...Even if it turns out there are side effects to these treatments, you also have to consider the known health effects of sleep deprivation.Tyler Torkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11460706772136362593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4307187040250193857.post-37862985247623997102013-05-11T04:59:43.506-07:002013-05-11T04:59:43.506-07:00I always thought that you either scheduled your po...I always thought that you either scheduled your posts or there was some sort of time zone thing going on with your settings.

As someone who suffers as well I am very intrigued by this. I went over 18 months without more than 2 hours consecutive sleep and after trying myriad "treatments" and drugs I settled on a nightly dose of Amitriptyline to help settle my sleep. It was non-addictive but did require me to take pills every night, which I wasn't a fan of. About two months ago I decided it was time to see what life off drugs was like. Let's just say it's been met with mixed reviews.

Thanks for sharing your story (or part of it), Gordon. Good luck - and sleep well.Andrew Buttershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18129116283463309554noreply@blogger.com
