Social contact is good for you if and only if there is something going on which is thought/emotionally fulfilling. Chit-chatting and mouthing pleasantries over dinner and even a Scotch won't do it. And finding those friendships ain't easy in a world on the go, especially when lives are filled with family and other commitments. I hear ya, Gordon. Welcome back home.
