I'm going to assume that these signals are of the radio or microwave variety? So, not only does life have to be evolved enough to know how to listen, they have to actually be listening in our direction AND on the right frequency. That hurdle alone tips the balance in favour of saving lots of people lots of money and possibly spending some of it on finding a better idea.

I'm all for generating interest in this sort of stuff, and I'm all for someone (not me) spending money to do it, but let's be serious. Dropping hundreds of millions of dollars on what can only amount to little more than a publicity stunt? Please. If Aliens ever to find us I dare say that we get what we deserve.

For the record, Alien-Folk, I'm not with *those* guys over there, you can skip my house when feeding time comes.Andrew Buttershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18129116283463309554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4307187040250193857.post-61329647639145683282013-06-19T05:06:03.823-07:002013-06-19T05:06:03.823-07:00I thought that last one was the only one communica...I thought that last one was the only one communicating to the aliens in their own language.Tyler Torkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11460706772136362593noreply@blogger.com
